This honestly made me tear up. Imagining how great he must have felt that his planned worked and choosing that risk paid off.
I also feel like him and the model have such good chemistry, they’re always so kind and loving to one another.

Holy shit what did he do?? That’s rad as hell!

Since the runway was going to have simulated rain, he wanted to make the outfit become colorful because of it rather than deflect it. He sewed dye into the seams and once the rain hit it the dye ran! Very simple but super effective. He was one of the two winners of that challenge.

Absolutely brilliant. Holy shit.

Oh my god I love project runway so much

this was so fucking good. i was stressed the whole damn episode because i wanted this to work so so much. and the damn model!!! stops in the middle of the runway and spins in circles so the water could hit as much of the dress as possible and the skirts flows out beautifully but aLSO! she looked like a kid playing in the rain and it was just aaaah fucking great

IT WORKED SO WELL I WAS SO HAPPY also im extra happy that he AND kini won #justice4kini

I’ll begin in 2005. It was the middle of summer - I was 16 or 17. It was back in the day when music channels actually played music videos for the majority of the day. I was in and out of my room, not doing anything in particular, when I heard a new song come on. I stopped and watched the video - I saw an adorable, lanky dude with long hair squirming in a straitjacket. That’s when I heard 6 words that would really help me in my young life:

Hold your head high, heavy heart.

This began my undying love for the band, The Academy Is…

Two years ago, I became friends with Ashley. We “met” on Twitter because of Panic at the Disco, but we met in person totally blindly by splitting a hotel room at Comic Con (yes, we’re nuts). Then we found out we both love William, and when he started coming out with his solo stuff, we invented the hashtag, #beckettwasted. We saw him together about two years ago, and this past Saturday we had the pleasure of seeing him again. I’d seen him a number of times before, and met him a few times, but I think this time was the most special.

[Note: Those are our nails at the top. William re-posted my G&C nails the other day, but Ash had matching ones! We’re legit fangirls ok.]

I’m so incredibly proud of William for standing on his own two feet and putting out such a great album, Genuine & Counterfeit. Sure, he wasn’t the headliner, but the sole reason I went to the show was to see him.

It was so nice to go to the show with someone who loves him *almost* as much as I do (you know it’s true, Ash), who obsesses over his music in the same way. He has such an amazing gift, and sometimes I get sad when it gets overlooked.

Anyway, we came to the show prepared to give him a number of gifts, and it was just the most awesome time ever.

The set was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I think his voice was the best it’s ever been. And that Chasing Cars cover? It left me speechless.

After the show, there were a number of fans in line to meet him, which was a first, but he took his time with everyone, including us. I’d done a couple paintings for us to get signed (mine is pictured above), so we got them out. At first he was totally engulfed in the painting, but then I was like, Hey William. Look. Then he saw my nails and stopped, and said, JOLENE! IT’S YOU!

Then, he reached out to hug me and I about died on the spot.

He loved the paintings, casually said, “I should’ve had you do my album artwork,” after which I died again.

The three of us talked for a bit, then he turned to apologize to the rest of the fans waiting. He said sorry it was “a slow-moving train.” Ha. It was cute. He had taken his time with the girls before us as well, so no one complained. It was obvious that he genuinely wanted to spend time with the people who had come to see him.

I had given him a bag with gifts in it, and I expected him to just take it but he really wanted to open it and look at what was in it… So he did! We got him a mug with the above #beckettwasted definition. He literally laughed out loud. It was adorable.

Anyway, it was magical. I’ve been a fan of him for 9 years, and it was just a very special time for me :]

I have a lot of feels ok.

That is all.

Basically the internet wanted me and jolenegolightly to be friends, and I’m super glad it did

How the fuck did he get hired there giving his name as “The Doctor”?

Im pretty sure he either used psychic paper or said “fuck it” and just made his own name tag and pretended he was hired.

I have one of those Doctor Who books that gives extra info on stuff and someone made up the application he sent to get hired and you really have to find it and see it because it’s pure gold. He put his age as like 1,200 and crossed it out and put 50 or something then wrote “Is that too high?” and crossed that out too and just wrote 29

I know I already reblogged it, but I had a feeling I’d seen that application IRL, so I dug out my books and went looking.

:)

i cant

I have a feeling he got hired because they realised they wouldn’t have to pay him.
